Abstract / Summary

Anger is one of the many emotions that we experience almost daily, and it has a big impact on us. However, it does not make it permissible to commit sinful matters that we are ordered to avoid, and it is not an excuse to disobey Allah. The religion showed us how dangerous anger can be, and it urged us to try to avoid it, and taught us the proper way to deal with it. The scholars clarified the judgments related to anger, and explained that an angry person is still accountable, except in the case where the anger caused the person to become unaware of what he is saying or doing. The apostasy committed by an angry person causes him to become an apostate, and he is obligated to return to Islam immediately by saying the two testifications of faith. The divorce of an angry person takes place, so does his Yameen (swearing by the name of Allah).
