• Provide foundational knowledge across Sharia, Theology, Quranic Sciences, and Hadith according to Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah.
• Enable correct recitation of the complete Quran with Tajweed rules and memorization of at least 5 Juz', focusing on accurate articulation and general comprehension.
• Qualify students to transmit selected Prophetic Hadiths with continuous chains of transmission (Isnad).
• Develop scholarly competence in analyzing sacred texts and addressing contemporary issues.
• Promote moderation, balance, and Islamic ethical values.
• Equip students with Arabic language skills required for understanding Islamic texts.
• Prepare qualified graduates for employment in education, guidance, preaching, and for postgraduate studies.

Upon completion of this program, students are expected to be able to:

Knowledge

1. Explain foundational knowledge and concepts in their specialization according to a structured scientific methodology.
2. Detail the principles of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah theology, its sources, and methods of deduction.
3. Recite by memory at least five Juz' of the Holy Quran with precise Tajweed.
4. Distinguish methods of Hadith transmission, reception, and key rules of narration.
5. Explain core and contemporary issues in Fiqh, Aqidah, Tafsir, and Hadith.

Skills

6. Compare in a scholarly and systematic manner between legal schools (Madhabs) and theological doctrines.
7. Apply scientific methodology to present Sunni theology and refute misconceptions with textual and rational evidence.
8. Recite the entire Holy Quran accurately according to Tajweed rules.
9. Narrate selected Prophetic Hadiths with connected Isnad and precise wording.

Values

10. Uphold Islamic ethics of honesty, integrity, and responsibility in behavior and conduct.
11. Contribute to community service by applying sacred knowledge to address contemporary challenges.

• High School Diploma (General Secondary Certificate, Technical Baccalaureate, or Sharia High School Diploma) equivalated by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Lebanon.
• Passing the entrance examination for the Bachelor’s program.

• Prepare qualified educators for secondary schools, private institutions, and Sharia colleges.
• Master academic research methodologies and tools in Islamic studies to produce peer-reviewed research.
• Promote authentic Islamic knowledge connected to community needs and contemporary developments.
• Consolidate the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah with emphasis on moderation and balance.

3. Analyze contemporary jurisprudence, theological, and exegesis issues.

5. Edit classical manuscripts and utilize advanced research tools to complete a Master's thesis.

• High School Diploma or equivalent recognized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Lebanon.

• For Usul al-Fiqh, Comparative Fiqh, or Fiqh:

• Bachelor's degree in Islamic Sharia, Usul al-Fiqh, Comparative Fiqh, Fiqh, or Islamic Studies (Sharia concentration) equivalated in Lebanon with a minimum GPA of 80% (no prerequisite credits required).
• Or Bachelor's degree in Usul al-Deen, Aqidah, Tafsir, Hadith, or general Islamic Studies with a minimum GPA of 80% subject to completing at least 12 prerequisite credits.

• For Aqidah & Philosophy, Tafsir, or Hadith:

• Bachelor's degree in Usul al-Deen, Aqidah, Tafsir, Hadith, or Islamic Studies (Usul al-Deen concentration) equivalated in Lebanon with a minimum GPA of 80% (no prerequisite credits required).
• Or Bachelor's degree in Sharia, Usul al-Fiqh, or general Islamic Studies with a minimum GPA of 80% subject to completing at least 12 prerequisite credits.
• Passing the Master's entrance exam.

• High School Diploma or equivalent recognized in Lebanon.
• Bachelor's degree in Sharia, Usul al-Deen, or Islamic Studies recognized in Lebanon.
• Master's degree in Sharia, Usul al-Deen, or Islamic Studies with a minimum GPA of 80% recognized in Lebanon.
• Passing the Ph.D. entrance examination.
• Applicants enter the track matching their Master's specialization. Candidates from outside Global University holding general Master's degrees will have their files evaluated by the Postgraduate Committee to determine suitable track prerequisites.
