مستخلص البحث (Abstract)
الحمد لله رب العالمين والصالة والسالم على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم أما بعد، فإنني قد وجدت الحاجة داعية لبيان حكم أكل الذهب المستخدم في األطعِ العصرية، فقد كان الذهب يستخدم منذ الزمن البعيد في العالج بدليل ما ذكر في كتب الطب القديمة، إال أن هذا األمر تعدى إلى استخدامه في األطعمة العصرية كالقهوة والحلوى، بل صارت تزين به اللحوم في بعض البالد، ثم يأكله ارغبو هذا األمر على هذه الهيئة، فما حكم ذلك؟ نعم ال يجوز استعمال أواني الذهب والفضة، ويحرم تحلي الرجال بالذهب والفضة إال خاتم الفضة كما هو معروف، ولكن ماذا عن حكم أكله؟ وهل يؤكل على الهيئة المعروفة؟ أم ما هي صور تناوله؟ كل هذا قمت ببيانه في بحثي هذا، حتى توصلت لحكم تناول الذهب المسمى اليوم غالبا بورق الذهب، أو مسحوق الذهب، فإنه إن كان قليال معالجا بحيث ال يضر بالجسم يكون حالال، بل يأكله بنية التغذي فإنه ذو فوائد عديدة كتقوية القلب، ويستخدم في العالج ويوضع في بعض المعاجين، ولكن النصيحة هي أن إنفاق المال ينبغي أن يصرف فيما هو أولى وأهم إال إن كان للعالج فال اعت ارض، وإال فمن نظر إلى الفق ارء الذين ال يجدون الخبز ليأكلوه يشق عليه أن كان شديد الرحمة أن يشتري الذهب ألكله، والله أعلم
Abstract (English)
Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah raise the rank of our Master Muhammad sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam and his Al and his companions and protect his nation from what he fears for it. Thereafter, I felt the need to clarify the religious ruling pertaining to eating gold in modern-day cuisine. Gold has been used since ancient times in natural remedies (or medicinal treatments), as evidenced by what was mentioned in ancient medical books. However, (nowadays), the matter has far exceeded the traditional usages of gold, with it being used in coffees, sweets, and even, in some countries, to decorate meats. And as such, those who are drawn to such garnishes eat the gold...so what is its Islamic judgment? Using gold and silver containers and utensils is not permissible. Also, it is forbidden for men to adorn themselves with gold and silver, except for a silver ring, as is well known, but what about the ruling on eating gold? Is it lawful to eat gold as such? And in which cases? All of this has been explained and clarified in my research. Eating edible gold which is known today as gold leaf, or gold powder is permissible in small amounts if it is not harming the body. One eats it with the intention of nourishment, as it contains many benefits, among which is strengthening the heart. It is also used in many medicinal remedies and is used in some pastes as well. However, money should be spent on more important things, unless there is a need for treatment, in which case there would be no objection. Otherwise, whoever is sympathetic to others, and looks at the situation of the poor, who cannot even manage to buy bread to eat, would find it very difficult on himself to buy gold to eat.
